A full, lifetime member share is $150. You can pay in full now through our form below. A membership is active for an entire household, though each share is entitled to only one vote in our annual elections.

After signing up, you will receive your member packet by mail. Each packet includes your household membership cards, a copy of our bylaws, and other fun surprises to help you show your DCM Member-Owner pride.

I hereby apply for membership in Dakota Community Market Food Co-op under the terms and conditions of consumer membership contained in the Bylaws and amendments thereto, and the regulations enacted by the Board of Directors. By submitting this form I also agree to receive the Dakota Community Market email newsletter, which includes important member-owner information regarding the co-op.

Benefits of Member-Ownership

Support our growth! The best way for us to raise development funds, apply for grants, and qualify for co-operative business loans is through robust membership sales.

As a member-owner, you own a share and have the right to vote on major operations decisions. You also are eligible to run for a seat on the board of directors and/or vote for leadership.
Participate in member-owner programs and savings days, receive free or reduced registration for workshops hosted by DCM, and more!
When the co-op is profitable, member-owners vote to receive dividend payments or reinvest profits into development of the store, further staffing, new services, and/or enhanced member benefits.
